The printer is a machine that prints words and images. Modern printing machines are generally composed of plate binding, inking, embossing, paper feeding (including folding) and other mechanisms. It works by making a printing plate of the text and images to be printed, loading them on a printing press, and then applying ink to the places where the words and images are on the printing plate by hand or a printing press, and then transferring them directly or indirectly to paper or other substrates (such as textiles, metal plates, plastics, leather, wood boards, glass and ceramics) to reproduce the same printed matter as the printing plate. The invention and development of the printing press played an important role in the spread of human civilization and culture.
